What is Water Baptism?
An Outward Symbol of an Inward change
An Outward Expression of a Renewed Mind
Water Baptism is a powerful demonstration of your new life in Christ. When you are immersed in water, it symbolizes burial with Jesus—dying to your old self and sin (Romans 6:3–7). Being raised out of the water represents resurrection into a new, transformed life in Him.
If getting baptized has been on your heart, we want to celebrate this milestone with you. Whether you’re a new believer or you were baptized as an infant and want to reaffirm your personal faith as an adult or been a believer but never baptized , this moment is for you.

Why Should I Be Baptized?
Water Baptism is for anyone who has become a believer and follower of Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It is a vital part of being a disciple (a disciplined follower), as taught by Jesus in the Great Commission:
A Note on Infant Baptism: If you were baptized as an infant but have since made a personal decision to follow Christ, we encourage you to take this step of faith as an adult. This act is a public declaration that you have personally committed to following Jesus.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." — Matthew 28:19

Is Your Child Ready?
We love seeing kids say "Yes" to Jesus! To ensure this moment is meaningful and clearly understood, we have a specific path for our younger believers:
- Ages 7 & Under: We believe children should fully grasp the depth of this decision before being baptized, so we wait until they are a bit older to take this step.
- Ages 8–11: If your child is asking about baptism, that’s great news! We require you and your child to attend our Parent-Child Baptism Workshop. This class ensures they understand the "Why" behind the "What" so they can walk into the water with confidence.
